SPEAK SAFE PROJECT

Good afternoon STREATHAM WELLS residents,

We are messaging you today concerning PROJECT SPEAK SAFE.

Speak Safe is a simple, anonymous online survey that allows young people to share concerns or experiences that may have made them feel unsafe. The survey takes around 30–60 seconds to complete and gathers key information such as what happened, where, and when, helping police and partners respond proactively and prevent future incidents. Any relevant information to the school will be shared with the school leadership team.

This initiative:

Helps identify locations and patterns of concern

Supports targeted patrols and early intervention

Gives young people a voice in improving their safety

Aims to prevent incidents from escalating into crime

This initiative is not a replacement for reporting crime. If a young person is a victim of crime or witnesses a crime, please continue to report it through normal police reporting channels. In an emergency, always call 999.
